This course offers an overview of the need for fire suppression, specifically over a residential range in a limited commercial space. UL300A and its requirements are discussed in detail as well as the products listed to 300A standards.

- Understand NFPA101 and how it applies in cooking environments
- Learn acceptable UL300A applications

2. Cooking Fire Safety & UL300A
A deep dive into preventing cooking fires, how to respond to them, dos and don’ts, fire suppression methods, UL300A and code requirements. At the conclusion of this presentation you will have learned about the risks of cooking fires, cooking safety and fire prevention tips. You will also understand how to respond if a cooking fire occurs, the available fire suppression methods for cooking fires, what UL300A is, where it can be applied on projects, and what UL300A products are available.
