Mechanical Fusible Link Actuation
When exposed to a high-heat/fire condition the fusible links melt, mechanically actuating the system. If there is no power to the area, and a fire manages to start, the system can actuate and suppress the fire event. Per the manufacturers’ instructions, fusible links should be replaced semi-annually.
Gas, Electric, Dual Range Element Disconnect
Denlar Hood Systems feature hardwired, connected range element disconnect options for gas, electric, or dual element appliances. These modules work to disable the cooking element in the event of a system actuation (or a maintenance alarm with the D1000 Series). The cooking element will not come back online until the system is recharged and/or reset. The range element disconnect options are hardwired, govern devices, and cannot be bypassed.
Low PH Wet Chemical Suppressant
Denlar Hood Systems utilizes the low PH version of a standard commercial-grade wet chemical suppressant. If the system discharges, clean-up is as simple as soap and water. Also, this chemical agent will not harm the finish of the appliance or the surrounding countertop. We do not recommend recharging tanks, but replacing them.
